THERE’S something pretty unwholesome about the 13-year-old Southampton teenager having a contraceptive implant at school without her mother’s knowledge.
Although I don’t approve of kids having kids, the age of consent was 16 last time I looked. How about teaching these impressionable girls to tell their pushy boyfriends: “No”?
Where will these sex-ed busybodies take their next campaign? Into kindergarten?
LAUGHTER really is the best medicine. I spent part of Day 20 after my op in the newsroom where all the girls complimented me on looking glam and I collected lots of hugs and kisses. Lovely that everyone was as pleased to see me as I was to see them. It was my first (nearly) pain free day.
Got home to lots more emails, Facebook posts and a voicemail from the hospital with another appointment. I only have seven days in my week, just how long is all this going to take?
NB to self: The waterproof mascara was good, but get matching eyeliner to avoid the panda look.
